Screenhog talks Halloween Party; What's New!

'Screamhog' posted on the CP What's New. He just talked about our fun, and thrilling Halloween party! Awesomeness?:

Hey everyone, it's Screenhog! (It's also Halloween, so does that mean I should call myself "Screamhog" this week?)

Ah, Halloween, a time for candy and costumes and ghost stories, and... oh, you already know what Halloween is! I'll just get right into what makes Halloween special this year:

"Night of the Living Sled" is back. Yes, Club Penguin's funniest scary movie continues at the Lighthouse! If you weren't here last year, you can watch 1 and 2 at the Coffee Shop and Night Club.
All is not what it seems at the Mine Shack... it's been replaced with a Haunted House! Try clicking on everything... there are a lot of surprises there.
After the Haunted House, head down to the Mine and click on the glowing green lamp. The laboratory is back, with some extra clothes to help turn yourself into a monster
Ready to go trick-or-treating? 8 candy pieces are waiting for you to find.
Last, but not least, Club Penguin is dark and stormy! Enjoy it while it lasts! It's a perfect time of year to play Hide and Seek with your friends.

Well, My work here is done! I did a lot for Club Penguin Congress! Purple! You rock! Keep on rocking CLUB PENGUIN CONGRESS! You will always be in my book of awesomeness! Bye!

Hey guys! For some reason Club Penguin have decided to start the Halloween Party early, it was supposed to start tomorrow but it's already here! One of the many features is the candy hunt. Here are the clues and the locations of the sweets/candy.

First clue:

To find the hidden candy go to the Lodge Attic and click on the small pumpkin near the couch, some chocolate will pop out, click on that and you have found the first piece of candy!

Second clue:

For this one you go to the dock. There will be a massive pumpkin patch, in the top right corner there's a pumpkin with a triangle shaped light, click that and it will become a sweet!

Third clue:

To find this, go to the pet shop and on top of the puffle there's a chandelier with a lollipop behind it, click on the chandelier and the lollipop will come out from behind it.

The fourth clue:

Go to the Cove and there will be a ghost holding a book, click on the book and candy will come out from behind it!

Clue 4:

Go to the pool and at the top where the pumpkin lights are there will be a pumpkin chocolate.

Clue 6: (There's no picture because I accidentally deleted it and I'm at my mate's)
To find this next savoury delight,
Look carefully at a stadium light.

To find it go to the football stadium and in the light on the left there is a piece of fudge, yum!

Clue 7: (Also deleted this one)
To grab the next delicious grub,
Search the trees for a rustling shrub.

To find it go to the forest and there Will be a rustling shrub, click on it and a chocolate apple will pop out!

Clue 8:

For this one I accidentally deleted the picture, sorry. You can find the candy by going to the mine and in the bottom right hand corner there is a little pool of slime and in there is a sweet.

You have now completed the candy hunt.

If you click on claim prize you get a pumpkin background. Here's what it looks like on your player card:

One of the other cool things is the hidden passage way to the lab with Gary's "Monster Maker 3000" You get there by clicking on the lantern in the mine! In there you will find a bunch of new costumes for sale!

There are two free items, the first one is at the plaza and it's Pumpkin Antennae. The second one is at the Haunted house which can be found where the mine is. The free item is a Pumpkin Head.

There's also The night of the living sled three playing at the lighthouse. If you haven't seen the first two you can watch them in the coffee shop and the lounge (above the night club).

At the iceberg you can see the northern lights. And there's also a really cool and massive pipe organ in the pizza parlor.

hey guys, is there a storm ahead or is it just Club penguin getting ready for Halloween? O_o

Club Penguin Anniversary and Yearbook!

Club Penguin's anniversary is here. Huzzah!! I am so excited. Only the Coffee Shop was decorated though. All well, beggars can't be choosers!! ;D Anyhoo, the hat even has my favorite colors in the whole wide world. Read on to find out!!

Here is the brilliant Town: (Difficult to take a picture while everyone is out!)

Steps to getting the hat are quite simple: In order to get the hat, hover your mouse for the Horse Pinata a couple of times. It should EXPLODE and then, I think we all know what happens next. ;)

...The hat should fall...fall...fall...

Waddle on over and pick up your prize! It will ask you if you want to pick it up.. You did ALL that work! Reward yourself!

Now we waddle on up stairs! Club Penguin made the 2008/2009 new YEARBOOK! The cover is WONDAFUL! I mite make it my Blogger profile picture!!!

What's New! Party Planner

A new What's New was posted on the Club Penguin Blog today. Happy77 talks to the party planner behind all the events! Here is the interview:

Greetings, Penguins.

This Saturday is really exciting because it's Club Penguin's 4th Anniversary! We're all stoked to party in the Town Center and Coffee Shop. I can't wait to get the new hat. This'll be my 4th!! I tried to get some info from some of the team who's helping with the planning!

Is it challenging to make such a HUGE cake for the Anniversary Party? Doesn't it make you hungry?

It sure does. That is why being a cake maker requires extreme self control (but I did go home and make a giant cake anyhow...)!

What's your fave party from the past year & why?

Definitely the Medieval party! Putting on my fish knight costume and waddling amongst the dragons and fellow gallant adventurers was an experience of epic proportions!

Lots of readers are really curious about the colors of the party hat this year. What can you tell us?

Haha, part of being a super party planner is not revealing secrets. What I can tell you is that it's my favorite color combination ever! So I'm super excited to share! But not 'til Saturday.

I guess we'll have to wait and see... Bring your friends and your best memories. Remember: One day only!

Penguin Times Issue #209

Hey guys! The new newspaper's out! Here's the front page:

The main story this week is about the Halloween igloo decorating contest!

There will be 20 grand prize winners and 20 runners-up! The grand prize winners get 50,000 coins, they get their igloo featured in the newspaper and they get a special postcard from the judges! The runners up win 25,000 coins they get their names featured in the paper and they also get a special postcard! How awesome is that?! The new better igloo catalogue comes out tomorrow so get decorating!

Another top story is the Anniversary Party! Club Penguin will be four years old on October 24th! To celebrate there's gonna be a party at the coffee shop for one day only!

Another thing lots of penguins are talking about is the mysterious grey clouds above the dojo... G said that the Volcano will have an impact on the islands weather. The heat and smoke from the volcano is building up in the sky and there is a 99% chance that this will cause a lightening storm. Just in time for Halloween...

This weeks events are:

October 16: New Better Igloos Catalogue & Igloo Decorating Comp Starts & New (and most likely spooky) Igloo Music!
October 24: 4th Anniversary Party!
October 27 - November 1: Halloween Party!

Another important event (for me anyway) is that my school is breaking up for the Autumn/Fall(if you're American) half term! That means that I'll have more time so sometime next week the membership contest should be posted! :)

Penguin Times Issue #208

Hey people! The new newspaper's out! And the top story is the Halloween Igloo Contest!

Like last year Club Penguin are having a Halloween igloo decorating contest. But, this year you actually have to submit your igloo if you want to be in the contest. It starts October 16. More details will be revealed in next weeks newspaper.

On October 24 it's CP's 4th anniversary! To celebrate there will be a one day only party at the coffee shop! There'll be cake and more importantly a new party hat! I wonder what the colours will be this time...

Moving on... The volcano mystery is still puzzling a lot of penguins. Sensei has said " Ahh, the volcano. It's power is so great it affects us all." and then, "It unleashes heat and smoke from the ground and may unleash fire from the sky." um yeah? He then said "Perhaps someone else can give you the answers. Maybe a science master..." Hmm, a science master. G maybe? We'll have to wait and see!

New monster helping out Squidzoid!

Hey guys! Happy77 has interviewed one of the club penguin workers about a new monster that will be helping out Squidzoid in the new play coming out on Friday! Here's the interview:

Q: So is it true? Will there be a monster who helps Squidzoid try to destroy the city at the Stage?
A: It's true. He just might be our biggest monster ever! I'm sure Squidzoid can control him though. 80% sure.

Q: Why did you decide Squidzoid needed help?
A: Well I don't want to say he needed the help, but the last few monsters didn't exactly do much to help out. It seems only fair that Squidzoid has a partner since there's a Shadow Guy and a Gamma Gal.

Q: You mean we'll be able to do MORE than just look at this monster?
A: Um...Oh would you look at that. I'm late for my pumpkin-carving lesson!

Looks like a giant butterfly or moth! Club penguin named this picture Melmon so I'm guessing that'll be it's name!

Hey guys! This month there's gonna two parties! (like every October) Club penguins 4th Anniversary and the Halloween Party! (One of my favourite parties) The anniversary is on October 24 and the Halloween Party starts on October 27!

Storms A'Brewing!

Remember last year where everyone was freaking out because of the storm that hit our loved Club Penguin JUST at Halloween. Then ninjas appeared!

Well another storm is a'coming and it is right about at Halloween time for CP. PLUS ninjas are getting a new room and yatta yatta yatta!

So maybe every Halloween from now on Club Penguin is going to release something NEW for ninjas!!
